CERTIFIED FIELD SERVICE Case Study in Reliability Customer had chronic fail to load and false dechuck alarms over a significant amount of time on the Titan head. A complete review of the head rebuild procedure was performed and we were able to identify a significant procedural error. This coupled with the optimization of the sensor hardware and EC settings significantly reduced fail to load and dechuck alarms. The modifications to procedure and hardware required relatively little time and no expensive subsystem upgrades. The reliability issue declined to the extent that it was removed from the top five on the Pareto chart.
